The Terrapin Family Band: Carrying the Torch

The Terrapin Family Band, formed at Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads venue, continues to honor the legacy of the Grateful Dead while forging their own path. Comprised of Grahame Lesh (Phil’s son) on guitar, Ross James on guitar, Jason Crosby on keyboards, and Alex Koford on drums, the band has been a fixture in the jam band scene.JamBase+8Jambands+8Jambands+8

In June, the band participated in the Jam In The Van series, delivering intimate performances of “The Wheel,” “Galilee,” and “Uncle John’s Band.” These sessions exemplified their seamless blend of classic Dead tunes with original compositions, all delivered with tight musicianship and heartfelt harmonies. L4LMRelix Media+2L4LM+2L4LM+2
